Sean is a skilled finance professional with the inquisitive mind of an entrepreneur who leverages his education, experience and wisdom for betterment in the lives of others. His 20 years of practice as an investment professional leaves him with strong convictions and stronger humility. Sean primarily partners with executives and entrepreneurs whose needs require attentive and sophisticated wealth management. He is focused on providing customized and dynamic investment and financial solutions centered on each client’s own goals according to their investment policy and financial plan.
Sean is on his 22nd year as a financial advisor. Sean is a board CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and a Certified Financial Manager (CFM). Prior to founding 1776 Wealth in 2017, Sean served as a Senior Vice President with UBS Financial Services for 10 years and Merrill Lynch for 11 years.
Before beginning his career in financial services, Sean served as first lieutenant and operations officer in the 82nd Airborne Division where he learned two lifelong lessons; 1. Failure is not an option and 2. Hope is not a strategy. These lessons are integral to the strategies and solutions employed for his clients to ensure they can enhance, preserve and protect their wealth.
Sean has also completed advanced training from National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and is a Governance Fellow.
Sean is a past Board Member of the Sandy Springs Conservancy where he worked to promote conservation and smart development within the city. Sean also served on the Board of Leadership Sandy Springs where he advocated community service, stewardship and enabled the development of other community leaders.
Originally from Saratoga County, New York, he went to WPI in Massachusetts completing a BS in Engineering, was commissioned an Officer and started his Army training in Alabama in 1992. After serving in the famed 82nd Airborne Division he made Atlanta, Georgia his home. Sean now lives, works and plays in Sandy Springs with his wife, Amy, and their children, Audrey and Liam, whom are students at MVPS.
